Ward Boundaries
Ward boundaries were redrawn following the 2000 Census to more fairly equalize the population in each ward. Ward boundaries are used to provide equal representation on the City Council (each ward elects two representatives) and to evenly distribute available financial resources such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.
